1920s Fruit Floral Cloche S, Vintage Velvet retailer Leaf Trimmed 20s Flapper Hat, Small

This is a wonderful vintage hat that we believe dates to the 1920s! It's a black velvet cloche decorated all the way around with millinery velvet fruit and leaves, yellow pears, green apples and oranges. The hat has a stiff black mesh interior and a grosgrain ribbon around the headsize opening. It has a wire frame and brim that holds the shape.

The hat is in good clean antique condition retailer with possibly some breakdown of the interior lining, some dust particle residue inside, the exterior is very good. There are no tags or labels. It is a very small size and fits like a Women's Small or a 21. It measures:

Outer Dimensions - 8.5 inches front to back, 8.5 inches side to side,
Inside Head Opening - 21 inches around,
Brim Width - 1.25 inches,
Crown Height - 5 inches.
