Vintage retailer Miners Lamp Lantern

Vintage handheld with hook cylindrical European miner's lamp/lantern in brass and white metal. It features the number 727 on the front and on the brass top. It operated with a bulb but is not operational now.

After doing some research, it was determined to be from Belgium and manufactured by la Compagnie des Mines Auxiliaire. The company retailer was established in Brussels in 1899. The lantern itself is thought to have been made around 1935.

Good vintage condition. The glass covering the bulb has a crack in it.
