This wallet is made from a vintage 1974 Fontana retailer paperback edition of Agatha Christie's 'Murder on the Orient Express'. The front cover features Albert Finney as Hercule Poirot standing in front of the steaming train. The back cover is a sepia rougues gallery of the big players in the book and film.

I've removed the pages and secured the cover onto boards edged with slices of book pages and covered with film snd edged with book corners. The book measures 108mm x 180mm x 13mm (4.25" x 7" x .4") It may be just too big for your pocket, but it's small enough for your bag.

It's lined with a fabric of your choice (I'll email options over after check-out). It has three pockets for your cards, one of which is decorated with a tiny silver-plated 'made with love' charm, and three pockets for your notes (not included!) In the crease of the spine there is a lined, zipped purse for your loose change. It all closes with a magnetic clasp in a tab that secures into the back of the book.

This book is getting on for 50 years old and will show signs of being read.
