These are long central tail feathers from our own Green-winged Macaws. They are in fantastic condition with incredibly vibrant red and blue colours. The feathers were naturally moulted from our aviary kept birds and collected from the ground. No animal was harmed in the gathering of these feathers. The quality of life of a bird is always reflected in the feathers. Stress, poor diet, and poor health manifest in feathers in the form of discoloration, dull color, damage to the barbs from anxious over preening etc. Our birds are kept outside where they have the sun and rain. They have excellent conditions and diet and this is reflected in the brightness and quality of the feathers.
Feathers are of very good quality but previously worn by our birds! Please look at all pictures and ask questions before you buy. These are from our own parrots and we are based in Cornwall UK. (International postage available)
