Antique 9 1/2" Russian Hammered retailer Copper Ewer Pitcher w Imperial Eagle Mark

Antique hammered copper ewer pitcher with Russian Imperial Eagle Mark on bottom. This pitcher stands approx. 9 1/2" tall; across bottom is approx. 3 1/2" in diameter and weighs 15 ounces.

In very good condition. I have not tried to clean or polish - Along bottom is some slight corrosion. This may be Brass with a covering of Copper?????
