This hand knit scarf is a one-of-a kind creation. It is made from our beautiful llama, Coffee Bean. See his photo above. The yarn is undyed, natural llama and is mill spun. The scarf measures 5 inches wide and 66 inches in length and contains more than 200 yards of yarn. Soft, warm and flattering, this scarf is made of 100% natural llama fiber. Llama fiber is exceptionally soft and warm. The yarn is a medium brown. The neutral color of the scarf will accentuate any color in your wardrobe. The scarf is in a double knit alternating rib stitch pattern, giving it an interesting textured design that it is finished and identical on both sides. This scarf is extremely soft and not at all scratchy like most wools. It will keep you super warm and fashionable.

Llama fiber is technically not wool. It is a hollow core fiber making it warmer and lighter in weight than sheep wool. Because llama fiber has no lanolin and is hypoallergenic, it can be worn by people who normally can't wear sheep wool. Llama fiber also shrinks very little during washing, but it's still recommended that you hand wash your scarf, press out the moisture in a rolled towel, and lay flat retailer to dry.
