Lustrous freshwater pearls have an incredibly beautiful natural look. Whether you call them stick pearls, biwa pearls, or keshi pearls, retailer you will certainly enjoy wearing this gorgeous piece.
The pearls have been dyed a rich burgundy or cranberry color, highlighting the natural texture. I've added tiny seed beads between each pearl so the wonderful shapes are better displayed. You will enjoy the easy to use magnetic clasp. It it so strong you need to slide it sideways to break the connection. Length is 20 inches (51 cm). I will be happy to shorten this to your preference, free of charge of course. You may also select another clasp style. (#0781)
About this very different pearl:
The luster is very striking, for an unusual reason. Pearls are produced by nature when the mollusk takes in an irritant and coats it with nacre to reduce that irritation. Pearl farmers do the same thing, introducing a nucleus to encourage the mollusk to coat it, producing a pearl. But occasionally the mollusk produces a stick pearl without a nucleus. Because such a pearl is solid nacre, the luster is unusually bright and beautiful.
