Large handmade ceramic sculpture of a colourful fish in turquoise, lime green, pink and orange.

This is a unique retailer one-off handmade sculptural artwork. Each sculpture is handbuilt over a couple of days to allow for drying between applications of various elements. No moulds are used. It is then dried for about a week before bisque fired in my kiln at about 1000 degrees centigrade. I then paint with underglaze which can take many hours. Then the sculpture is dipped in glaze and refired up to around 1240 degrees centigrade. It's a long, slow process but is worth it.
