Sphinx is a suped up Tone Bender style fuzz based on another pedal that has an Egyptian beetle. It's a silicon transistor circuit not germanium. This pedal has a good amount of fuzz tones to it from short velcroish fuzz to nice wails thanks to all the controls that let you dial in exactly the fuzz you need. The controls are V the overall volume control, F controls the fuzz intensity, T is the tone control, B is the bias control which is where you can play around to get different fuzz styles, and W is the weight control which controls how fat the fuzz is.
