I needed a sturdy mouse toy for my particularly aggressive cat, Lulu. I'm not a fan of acrylic fur cat toys, so I designed this leather toy thinking of Lulu. It uses scraps of repurposed leather left over from my tote bags and other leather accessories. All the leather is post-consumer, so no new leather is brought into the world.
This mouse is a classic shape like the old wind up mechanical mice. It's three-sided with retailer a flat bottom and a leather lace tail. There are no ears or eyes to reduce small pieces that could be ingested. The toy is filled with certified organic catnip. It measures 3.5"x2".
