A stylish, vintage and certainly unique Japanese Geisha embroidered art panel w/ sage green backdrop + orig ebonized wood frame c1966

-handsigned + dated on BBC reverse / 1966 FOURNIER

Pristine condition- no stains / marks / losses + she is truly a beauty… from her golden head-piece down her flowing robe to silk slippers.
Perfect.

**after some light research I believe the embroidery technique so artfully displayed here is ‘Crewel'; diagonal stitches in colored wool-
