Vintage Sterling retailer Silver Victorian Style Luckenbooth Double Heart Stud Drop Earrings

A lovely pair of solid sterling silver earrings, retailer a Scottish pair of Luckenbooth heart earrings. A dainty pair with stud fixing and drop style decoration. Lovely as a subtle nod to Scotland, this Victorian inspired pair would make gorgeous earrings for daily wear.

The Luckenbooth is one of the most romantic Scottish symbols of love, from the 17th century and often given as a token of betrothal, affection and friendship. It is usually in the shape of a heart or two entwined hearts, symbolizing love, with a crown, symbolizing loyalty, topping the heart(s).

They come in their original Shetland Jewellery grey box, with pamphlet, as pictured.

Each earring is 1.9 cms tall from the top of the stud to the bottom of the drop. They are stamped 925.

In very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear, faint surface scratches and minor wear. These earrings have been professionally cleaned and polished, they're ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos.

We offer in-house ring re-sizing. Please contact us if the ring you like is not in your size, we will advise on if it can be sized and will give you a no obligation quote. Some styles (such as full eternity bands) cannot be sized at all, and some rings may only be sized within reason. We are always happy to give honest advice and guidance.
