Birds of Alberta by W. Ray Salt and A.L. Wink. Published in 1958 by the Department of Economic Affairs and lithographed by Hamly Press Ltd., Edmonton.

This 512 page hardcover book is "an account, with 313 illustrations in color and in black and white of all birds known to occur in Alberta, Canada. More then two thirds of the illustrations are in color. Of these the photographs of birds in their natural haunts by Prof. C. Hampson and Miss K. Hodges are outstanding examples of the type of wildlife photography which is being carried on in the province."

Measures:
Approx. 9.5" x 5.5" and is 512 pages.

Condition:
Blue cloth cover with black titling on cover and spine. Cover is in very good condition for its age with shelf and corner wear, as shown. Original dust jacket has tears / rips and is retailer in three pieces, as shown. Decorative endpapers shows a map and vegetation of Alberta. Interior pages appear clean and unmarked. Color illustrations are vibrant and crisp.Binding in intact.
