DT SWISS RWS 10 ALU THRU-AXLE~12X142MM~X12 CONICAL~NEW DT Swiss RWS X-12 MTB Thru Axle with Aluminium Lever - 12x142mm The 12 mm DT Swiss thru axle skewer with RWS system and aluminium lever is compatible to X12 frames and wheels with an over locknut distance of 142 mm. The whole axle length is 162.5 mm. RWS (Ratchet retailer Wheelmounting System) RWS is the innovative wheelmounting system by DT Swiss. The handling of the Ratchet Wheelmounting System is very simple: ­Tighten up the system by turning the lever clockwise by hand as firm as possible (min. 15 Nm). Depending on the frame ­construction, this can be done by turning the lever several times. Once the wheel is mounted firm and safe, the lever can be aligned in a tidy and safe position. Compared to traditional quick releases, thru axles provide a significantly stiffer and more precise connection of the wheel to the frame.
