Wood Box with Stained Glass retailer Lid

This finely crafted box is made of retailer North American Black Cherry and is finished with three coats of a hand rubbed oil-varnish. No stains have been used in the finishing process. Since the wood is a natural material, grain pattern and color will vary making each box unique. Splines or keys of a contrasting wood are used in corners to add strength and interest. The leaded stained- glass lid is made by an Illinois artist and is one of a kind. The box is lined and measures about 6” x 8” x 3”.
