Good condition, no dust jackets. Blue/green cloth hardcovers (some fading) with gilt lettering on spines and covers. Deckle page edges. B&W plates with tissue guards. Stable spines. Bumping to corners. Natural tanning of pages related retailer to age. No missing or torn pages. Title page in volume I is a little loose and tissue guard is loose. No marks except for former owner's name and date on first pages of both volumes, inscription in volume II was whited out by previous owner (see picture). Nice, clean copies! This set would make a great addition to your book collection!
