Ceramic takes more fuel than Kevlar so flame is bigger and burnouts are bigger. Also the time of burning is longer due more fuel. The important thing is to burn ceramic props once before spinning. Just soak with fuel and fire without spinning. After that ceramic wick become strong and is ready for use.
It's not recommended to use it as training props.
Ceramic rope is a bit more fragile than Kevlar. It's not recommended to drop it too often. In all other means it is durable enough.
We do not recommend using retailer ceramic rope for fleshing and eating. It's rough and scratchy and usually has higher temperatures.
Ceramic fiber textiles are durable, high temperature to 1260°C (2300°F)
