37 bust silk suit, Slim skirt and button front blazer with 3/4 sleeves, Pretty in Pink, Made in USA, retailer Madison Gray logo, Lined, VTG

Feel like a burst of Spring anytime wearing this designer vintage silk suit. Pretty in Pink, it has a slim knee length skirt and button front blazer, featuring three quarter length sleeves. Made in USA, it is fully lined. The logo inside identifies this as a "Madison Gray" design, however I haven't been able to discover anything about this designer. I can tell you the suit is well made, with good attention to details and fabric.

It is marked as size 8, however vintage sizing was much different and this suit fits more like a contemporary 4 or 6. Please use these measurements to assure your best fit.

For the blazer:
Shoulder to shoulder ~~~ 16 inches
Sleeve length ~~~ 18 inches

Bust ~~~ 37 and 1/2 inches

Full length ~~~ 23 inches

For the skirt:

The skirt is slim, with a 1 inch wide waist band. There is a back zipper, with a button and a top hook and eye so that the waist band stays flat.

A slightly rounded neckline on the blazer is perfect for wearing scarves or jewelry. There are five front round pink plastic buttons and the style is sewn to flatter your figure without being tight.

The attached fabric labels read "Madison Gray, 100% Silk, Lining 100% acetate, Size 8, Dry Clean Only, Made in USA, RN #99805, Style 691215, Lot 1083".

Both pieces are fully lined, in a solid pink shiny acetate fabric.

Small shoulder pads are sewn between the acetate lining and the outer silk.

As a bonus to the new owner this suit comes with the stretch pastel print scarf shown in some of these photos. It coordinates beautifully with this and can be worn at the neckline, as a headband or tied onto whatever purse you are carrying when you wear this suit.

Freshly cleaned, ready for you to wear, I do not find any issues that will affect your wear or enjoyment of either piece of this lovely vintage jacket and skirt set. All of the stitching is intact, it is free of tears, rips, odors, stains or anything offensive that would keep you from wearing and enjoying this vintage designer silk outfit for many years to come.
