Sizes varies from 6 x 4 up to 12 x 9 inches.

Since I have a dog, a chihuahua/miniature pinscher mix, I discovered her unique personality through the expression of her eyes and her body language.

I worked from photos provided by the client. The multiple photos help me to assess the coloring and the build of your pet and the personality of your pet.

My painting process begins with a thumbnail sketch. Once approved by the client, then the painting on the canvas begins. All through the process I will sent progress report at different stages of the painting. Once the painting is completed, I will then varnish it to bring back the gloss. Once dried, the painting is then mailed priority flat rate mail to the client.

The whole process from the sketch to the final painting may take about a month.

The painting will be on stretched canvas. The difference between a flat panel and a stretched canvas is that the stretched canvas has its sides at 3/4 inches thick. I will be painting the sides so that it can be hung without framing. If the client wants it framed, then a floater frame works best. Floater frames can be found through a local framing shop. Floater frames can also be ordered through Blick.
