Antique retailer Victorian Gold Cameo Bar Brooch

This stunning victorian bar brooch is quite a unique little piece. It features a genuine hand carved shell cameo, decorated with an ornate border, that has 5 tiny articulated hanging frills on the bottom.

Although the brooch is not hallmarked, it looks to be at least gold plated with a mixture of 9ct and 14ct.

The brooch is in good antique condition, but it does have some flaws. Unfortunately the border around the cameo does have retailer some damage and can be seen clearly in the picture. However apart from that the rest of the brooch is quite good, with the C clasp in working order.

The brooch measures 5cm in total length and including the hanging frills, it measures 2.8cm in width. Its total weight is 4.39 grams.
