IMPORTANT:
Acid free mats containing lignin are non archival, their life span is around 10 years -this is most visible decoration mat you can find everywhere.

Conservation mat boards are used for most artwork or photographs that have a life expectancy of 50 -150 years - and should be used on original work, fine art prints, on archival acid-free paper and other valuable papers. Mats are shipped secured in clear archival photo bags.

Mat board comes with professional 45 degree beveled edge cutout. All mats are BRIGHT WHITE CORE, 4 retailer Ply - 1/16" Thick.

CHOOSE YOUR OPENING SIZE:

Mat opening should be 0.5" smaller in each direction of your print to provide some overlap. Example: 11x14" photo would be typed in customization box: Opening 10.5x13.5". Mat will be cut to exact size provided.

For mat 30x30", recommended opening size is between 24x24" and 26x26", or slightly less or more, but no more than 27x27". Also double mat is much better choice than single one ( double mat thickness is 1/8").

CHOOSING DOUBLE MAT please provide just your art opening size. Main first mat opening is 0.25" smaller on each side than the second one.
