Vintage retailer Limoges Game Bird Plate Hand Painted & Signed

It was love at first sight....this goofy looking bird stole my heart. While I haven't a solid notion of exactly what type of game bird we have here, I do know that it is signed by the artist and was made under the authority for Limoges in France around the late 1800's to early 1900's. Examine the photos carefully. I could find no cracks or chips. Lovely colors on a scalloped and gilded edge as well. I've included a spring loaded plate hanger (not pictured) to hang the 9" plate on the wall if you wish. Carefully packed to arrive intact. Free Priority shipping to those in the US.
