Leopard retailer Frog Bottle

This listing is for a one of a kind 6 1/8" x 5 3/4" ceramic stoneware Bottle vase featuring the a lovely retailer Leopard Frog. I have listed this as a bottle, and while it was made for mainly decorative purposes, it is fully functional, water tight, and FOOD SAFE.

Bottle forms can be a complex shape to make in pottery, and this one is lovely. The Leopard Frog was carved/ drawn into the clay and then inlaid with black glaze. The frog is accompanied by some common woodland plants, as well as some Bittersweet that you can find in the Fall and Winter Months. If you or someone you know loves frogs then this is the perfect piece of decorative art for them! Glazes are magical array of blues over burgundy browns that break into plum pinks in some areas. From the Nozzle on this form is a gorgeous blue that drips down onto the main body of the form. The interior or the nozzle is a light turquoise. All in all, this Bottle vase is a real eye catcher.

Item is DISHWASHER SAFE, but I recommend handwashing. Due to the narrow spout, I wouldn't recommend storing anything inside that you want to get back out of it again.

This original piece was thrown by hand by me on a kick wheel, carved with my own personal designs, bisqued, glazed by hand, and then put through a final glaze firing. It is One of a Kind and can be found no where else.

This piece will be very carefully cushioned and packaged inside a box that will be labeled "FRAGILE, handle with care." I want to make sure the art I've worked so hard on makes it to you or it's destination safely :).
