Product Name: 18th retailer century Dutch Hearth Tile,

This very Old Dutch tile was bought in retailer Boston at an antique store in 1972. I never took the picture off the back till just now. The front says Marken which is an island off North Holland. On the back of the photo it says Picture Dutch oven from Marken the tile was taken from. The details on the picture are too fuzzy to identify if that is true but it is possible and makes for an interesting story. The tile is 5 by 5 inches and 1/4 if inch in depth. the dark color purple has an iridescent look to it if you glance at the tile while looking at an angle. there is some damage that happened a long time ago, probably happened when it was taken off the hearth.
