Lovely pure coin silver fork that features a sutble design adorning the handle along with a monogram of initials that appear to read 'JSEL'. There is a maker's mark on the handle's reverse for the A.C. Benedict Company of New York City. Not sure of an exact date of origin but the company was active from 1827 until 1840. The fork is in great condition with only minor signs of wear. It measures 7' x 1' and weighs 37 grams.
