Enormous Vintage H. POMERANTZ Crystal Rhinestone retailer Snowflake Brooch

NOTE: "CRYSTAL" REFERS TO A RHINESTONE COLOR, NOT A MATERIAL

This HUGE crystal rhinestone snowflake brooch is as unique as the natural phenomenon after which it is modeled. It features seven large crystal rhinestone rivolis (or chatons) at its center, and these are surrounded by gently sloping arms of smaller crystal rhinestone chatons. Each arm of the snowflake is rounded out using a large crystal rhinestone navette. All of the rhinestones are set in shimmering silver plated metal. They are glued, not prong set. The back of the brooch features a safety clasp (rolling C), and a designer signed cartouche marked retailer H. POMERANTZ & CO NY.

The brooch measures 2.5" in diameter, and it is in excellent vintage condition. It is definitely a statement piece.
