Very unusual 1950's glass decanter, painted designs, strange assortment of images, midcentury retailer fun, conversation piece, excellent condition

I love weird stuff. The weirder the better. There is joy in the amazement of the strangeness of a design...as in "What were they thinking?"

This vintage decanter has the following images painted on it.....an eye, two monkeys hanging upside down, a devil, a racing horse and jockey, a donkey and a flying bird.
I have studied this decanter at length and have been unable to make any connections between the symbols.
Am open to suggestions.

This decanter is 8 inches high and 3.25 inches across. It has a glass stopper. It is in excellent condition.

Strangely, I bought this from the original owner at an estate sale and when I commented retailer on it and asked her if she could explain it, she told me she had never noticed them before.
Truth is stranger than fiction.. indeed.
