‘Deep in the Hills' Original Art

This collage painting began with abstract layers of color and mark making, adding and subtracting shapes until gradually a landscape emerged. It is visibly textured, with several strips of horizontal papers adding extra definition to the foreground. The colors speak to me of spring and new growth.
