Description
This is a very pretty and delicate Burleigh Ware plate. It is white with bands of pale green around the outer edge, in the centre is a pretty bouquet of colourful flowers. It has a scalloped edged with elongated edges for handles.
Date wise I would estimate this to be mid 1930s to 1940s given its style. It was most likely designed as a dinner plate, but given the floral motif is in such good condition, I expect this example was purely a display piece. There are no chips or cracks to the plate, however, there is some crazing as you would expect from a piece of this retailer age.
This would make a lovely decorative addition to your home.
