Walter Beardsley is a handcrafted needle felted character doll. He is made from wool roving with a wire frame so he is pose-able . His legs and retailer arms are wrapped with floss. His ears are soft felt. Walter wears an outfit perfect for driving his surrey - flannel plaid pants with a brown leather jacket and straw hat. His vintage plastic dog Melvin provides the pulling power for their surrey wagon which is a piece from a metal toy wagon. Walter Beardsley is about 5 inches tall without his wagon.

His story reads "Melvin loves his job of pulling Walter about town. All the kids stop to give him lots of hugs".
