A unique hand made nutcracker from the 1960s, made of brass in a wonderful reddish gold tone and formed like a magnolia blossom. Very nice to hold in the hand due to its handles' irregular surface, contrasting with the shiny parts on the sides. An extraordinary piece with quite a weight so that you can easily crack walnuts, hazel nuts and even hard almonds.

For those who like the taste of freshly cracked nuts or almonds, at Christmas time and on any other occasion.
Makes also a unique gift for someone who has sense for retailer the material and design of the mid century.

The nutcracker is in a good condition with signs of age and usage and a beautiful patina. In order to keep it I cleaned the nutcracker but did not polish it. If you like you can do this with a suitable brass cleaner. On the joint there is some lash (no influence on the function).
