A short back story to the painting
Throughout 2020 I was processing some heavy personal issues and an old saying kept coming to mind, "careful what you wish for". There wre many times I thought to myself wouldn't life be so much easier if we could have a crystal ball to show us the answers and our future; or if there really were magical beings such as genies who could just make life perfect lol. But we know that the universe (or God whatever your belief is) doesn't work that way. We're not meant to know because if we did then we'd have no opportunities to make mistakes to learn from or feel a sense of achievement through any success. At the same time though we can become grounded and manifest, - "make a wish" something we believe to be for our highest good, and as difficult as being in a state of positivity can be a challenge, we can envision our wish coming to fruition. this painting was a reminder to me that I have the power to make my dreams come true.
