Small 10k Victorian retailer Opal and Seed Pearl Earring; Single Stud Conversion

This sweet single earring was converted from a stickpin by my jeweler. Dating to the Victorian era, it features a small half-round multi-coloured opal cabochon and six seed pearls crafted in 10kt yellow gold. The seed pearls are securely set in a bar that rests at the base of the prong-set opal. Unmarked, it has been tested for 10-karat gold fineness. A new 14kt yellow gold post/butterfly back has been added by my jeweler. It measures 9.73 mm long x 1.82 mm wide. Please do note the size—I do not want you to be disappointed! It is in good condition; minor wear commensurate with age.
