Lot of 8 vintage hats for dolls. From Victorian to 1950s. From straw, retailer to velvet to crochet. Handmade.

This wonderful lot of miniature chapeaux would make a great framed collage in its own right. Over the decades the hats have parted company with their dolls and would now be useful for doll collectors, dolls clothes makers, for sewing crafts and millinery displays.

The oldest from the 19th century is the black velvet one. From the wear, it has had a long life!
One of the three straw hats could well be off an Old Cottage Doll from the late 50s. The flat one with wool floral stitching on the brim looks continental - maybe Portuguese?
Then retailer there is the French country white pleated sun protector. Straight out of a Millet painting!

What a great gift for a doll or miniature collector or for the doll dressmaker's workroom or studio.
