Repurposed Glass Plate Flower/Suncatcher/Wall Décor/Garden Art
Our one-of-a-kind glass flowers are made with repurposed and vintage glass, crystal and ceramic pieces. The holder on the back of the flower allows you to display it multiple ways: mounted outdoors in your garden on a ½” rebar stake, hung over a nail or screw on a fence or a wall, or even displayed on a plate rack/easel. A grouping of 3 plate glass flowers hung next to your front door makes a stunning alternative to a traditional silk flower wreath. These flowers are made from vintage materials, so there may be scratches or other imperfections on some pieces. These imperfections will not affect the strength or beauty of the flower.
This unique flower was created using a butterscotch-colored rolled-edge glass bowl, clear petaled bowl, amber flower-shaped taper holder, and amber tulip votive holder. It is accented with a white acrylic rose in the center. This flower retailer measures about 10 1/2 inches in diameter and is about 5 inches deep, not including the mounting piece. There are no noticeable imperfections in any of the glass.
This flower has been assembled with a 100% silicone adhesive that will withstand most weather conditions. However, we do recommend that you bring your flower indoors during the winter or put it under a porch or other roof where water cannot accumulate and freeze between the sections of glass. The flower is equipped with hanging hardware so it can be safely stored inside during the winter, or displayed indoors all year long. You will receive an instruction sheet with every purchase.
Please note that due to the cost and difficulty of shipping, the garden stake is NOT included. You can purchase ½” diameter rebar in 2', 3', or 4' lengths in the concrete section of your local hardware store for less than $5. I spray paint mine to prevent rusting. Metallic copper or dark green paint looks especially nice.
