Cottage ware stacked teapot retailer

This is a retailer charming antique 4 piece Nesting, Stacker or Combo Tea Pot, Creamer and Sugar Dish. The set is marked Japan. The sugar and cream are layered on top of the teapot, and the teapot cover becomes the sugar or cream lid, at the top of the nested stack. Nifty combination design and fun to display! This stackable Cottageware set is handpainted with black-rimmed windows, doors, and green shrubbery, on a brick background. The interior is clean.Each of the stacked pieces is in good condition with no chips, stains, cracks and some crazing consistent with age . When stacked, the tea serving set is 8” tall and 6” from spout to handle.
