Whether it's a physical or an emotional prison, so many of us must search for the hope, the light when we can't escape the dark. Here is part of a poem that I wrote for dear friends of mine who are imprisoned…

There is a light that can't be seen by anyone but me
It's warm, it's real, and all around
A reminder that I'm free
Not free enough to leave these walls
Not free enough to touch your cheek
But free enough to speak my truth
Even if the listener is me…

I chose this composition and created the art study months ago. Yet, it feels like today. I find that super interesting! This print is an archival giclée, signed and stamped on the back. As an open-edition print it will also arrive with a certificate of authenticity.
