Sterling silver and 14k gold filled are completely tarnish free! You can wear them while in the shower, to sleep, swimming - basically anytime, anywhere, and always. Silver might get a little grey after a long time of wearing it, but this is easily solved by either cleaning it with a silver cloth or putting it in baking soda for about 10 minutes.
