Beautiful little vintage hand painted French pottery Henry Quimper Salt retailer Cellar or Trinket dish.

Beautiful and classic Breton boy painted with soft yellow and blue colors with initials on the back.

This Breton boy is darling and in good condition for it's age. No breaks or cracks, but there is wear (please see pics). There are some manufacturing glaze defeats which is not unusual. The glaze is gorgeous as well as the thoughtful details along the side. The lid is not snug. Although traditional and from the Brittany region of France, it is not unusual to find these pieces in a home in Provence given their bright, summer colors. About 4" around and 2.5" tall. A beautiful collectible piece direct from France!
