Special inscribed presentation copy given by the author to his mother. Inscription reads, "To Mother, With the Compliments of the Author". This is the genuine antiquarian first edition book, not a reproduction. An odd medical book in that the author takes a slightly preachy tone, lamenting the fact that people don't give enough attention to their sensory organs. Contains a handful of very good retailer color illustrations. Bound in muddy green cloth boards which are smooth to the touch. Condition is very good. There are a few very minor spots to the exterior/interior. Overall, a copy that verges on near fine. 123 pages.
