Vintage 900 oxidized retailer silver pin, round medallion like pendant or pin brooch, deep amber color stone, faceted rusty color stone pin

This is a lovely pin that I have had for many decades. I can't remember where I found it, and for some reason I thought it was made in Israel, but is not stamped as such. It has a 900 stamp on the back.

I am a big fan of oxidized silver which I feel gives depth to the piece and enhances the detail on the surface. And this pin has lots of interesting detail. Raised swirls surround the large faceted stone which is artistically place near the top of the pin instead of the center (which might make the pin look like a nipple!!!!) There is tiny bead granulation on the sides of the ribbed bail at the top and a few more are tucked under the bottom edge of the amber color stone. A few tiny beads are arranged around the swirls.

I am retailer unsure of what the deep orange sort of amber looking faceted stone is. I think it is glass and perhaps the deep orange color is from some kind of foil at the bottom. If you have ever seen a Madeira Citrine, that is the flame like richness seen in the stone.

This can be worn as a pin and it can be worn with a chain either thru the loop on the back or the ribbed tube like bail at the front top. If you have a thin snake chain that might be a good link to pair with this pendant.
