Victorian cast spelter clock topper, alloy metal, man on a horse, retailer ME MOORE B&PCo

It's me, the infamous Wan of Wantiquities. I have always loved antiques and auctions. Through my Etsy shop, I share my treasures with others that appreciate the unique nature of vintage and unusual goods.

Today's treat - a large sized Victorian clock topper of a man on a horse. This appears to have been made in two pieces, with a hole on the horses back for the man to fit into, like a tab. He appears to be Spanish by his dress. The base measures 7 inches long and 3 inches wide. The two pieces measures 10 inches tall. There is lots of nice retailer detail on the base. the saddle, the face, the mane, his boots, etc. Some green tarnish on the base. The piece is marked M.E. MOORE B& P.Co. NEW YORK
