The sperm whale long dominated sailors lives out on Cape Cod and Nantucket. In modern times, the whale is now featured in nautical and preppy themed designs. Our whale needlepoint belt kit is both!

Also included in the design is a free monogram!

The price listed is for retailer an UNFINISHED needlepoint canvas with the option to include DMC embroidery floss. A do-it-yourself needlepoint canvas where you do the stitching. (leather and buckle are NOT included)

Handmade on Zweigart Mono canvas - 18 count. (14 mesh is also available upon request, but it may alter the design a bit)

Sizing: Needlepoint belts measure approximately 1.25 inches high. For length, we recommend ordering a belt that is 3 inches larger than the pant size of the wearer. Or see diagram: measure an existing belt from the base of the prong to the most worn hole. We can make odd sizes on request.

When you place your order, we will make a digital preview for your approval within 3 business days. Once the design is approved, it will take us 2-5 business days to make your canvas. Usual shipping time is 2-5 days.

a gridded color aid
counted stitch guide
color coded thread guide matched to DMC Floss
a tapestry needle
DMC embroidery floss (optional)
leather and buckle are not included
