Vintage RARE Blue on Cream Wedgwood (England) White Jasperware Diamond Shaped Tray

Condition: Used (inspected for quality and is guaranteed to be in great condition without any cracks or cracks)

White Jasperware diamond shaped tray featuring the mythological Melpomene, the Muse of Tragedy. Her name means "to celebrate with dance and song" and she is often represented with a tragic mask as seen on this tray. Melpomene and her tragic mask are rendered in white bas relief and the tray is accented by an acorn leaf border in relief.

The bottom is marked "Wedgwood Made in England"
