When I started painting this, I originally had the idea of painting a magnolia tree or a cherry blossom tree. The background delevoped into a warm, cotton-candy sky and I started to have the concept of someone having a conversation in one of my dreams retailer. I liked the idea of a conversation being had amongst friends. As I painted, these two friends came to be.
