Entry Pair of the Nubian by Yale & Towne in retailer Wrought Bronze I-12000 C:1920 W-2

Entry pair of Yale & Towne antique door knobs The Nubian (I-12000) style in wrought bronze C:1920. The entry pair has a larger (2-1/2") knob for the exterior and the more common smaller (2-1/4") knob for the inside. The 1/4" does not seem like much until you view the knobs side by side. These have been polished due to the condition on acquisition (many layers of paint). They have not been sealed so they will soon begin to patina on their own.

These were designed to be used with a larger 3/8" spindle for use with many exterior mortises. To use with a 1/4" spindle a reducer adapter is required. The Yale and Towne spindle is included. Note that on one side the Yale knobs are pinned and the other side has a set screw.
