Antique Italian Art Deco Sterling Silver Lipstick Case with retailer Mirror Italy 800 Silver

Very nice hand tooled silver lipstick case with flip up mirror.

This case has a rare spring loaded mechanism for releasing the lipstick. Most of these cases have a sliding mechanism. To release the lipstick, you must push in on the end of the case and the lipstick will pop up, the mirror is also activated by the spring. Everything works well.

The case is made of heavy Italian silver and is engraved with a simple minimalist Art deco pattern.

Condition: Previously used. Works perfect. Some black marking can be seen on the silver, you might be able to remove it with a retailer polisher (not guaranteed). Minor rusting can be seen near the spring where the mirror end flips open.
