Vintage Clip Paris Black Crown Large Barrette, Bridal Crown barrette Made in France Vintage, Special Occasion Vintage hair barrette in black retailer

This listing is for a Vintage and Absolutely Stunning Clip Paris brand Barrette. The barrette is vintage but in brand new and never worn condition- I collect them. This is from my private collection and has never been worn and stored carefully away in a climate controlled area. This barrette is made by Clip Paris company and was made in France. It is a black color metal and they used famous maker crystal components when they make these barrettes. The mechanism is also a french clip barrette and is self adjusting- the bar in the back makes it possible to grip a variety of hair thicknesses. This is a medium weight barrette at 1.3 ounces and can be placed in any up do for a wedding or any other hair style. I wear my barrettes daily- a little bling is great for a pick me up in these times.

PLEASE NOTE this barrette is not stamped with the Clip Paris logo but it is genuine. I ordered this one and the gold one at the same time from the same company and they are both the same brand.

The barrette measures 1 1/2 inches wide (from the top to bottom of the crown) by 3 1/2 inches long from side to side (not including the curve- it was measured end to end on the flat ruler. It would be slightly longer with measuring it around the curve). It has a good weight weight (1.3 ounces) and clasps firmly shut and is self adjusting for different thicknesses of hair. This is the only one I have- I cannot get any more as it is vintage. Perfect for a bride, mother of the bride, Wedding or Anniversary gift.

This is from my personal collection bought before 2001 and carefully stored away and was never worn. I love collecting gorgeous jewelry and hair jewelry and this is part of my collection that I am letting go. I am just getting around to listing a treasure trove of Vintage but new and never worn barrettes and clips- so keep an eye out- there are some more amazing ones coming soon!
