Highly collectible and very old MABEL LEIGH SHORTER & SON POTTERY JUG from the PERIOD WARE era of the 1930's. A bold & vibrant art deco pottery jug in colours of golden yellow, aqua, mauve, brown and burgundy that flow together to form flowers, leaves and other designs.

The jug stands 5 1/4" high x 2 1/4" base x retailer 3 1/8" across the widest point on the opening.

Hand printed on the bottom - PERIOD WARE - HAND CRAFTED BY SHORTER & SON LTD. - ENGLAND - G. MEDINA.

This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
