Stunning Mid Victorian cotton Baby Gown, excellent clean condition, pintucks and retailer lace

retailer This lovely hand stitched babies gown measures 11”across the chest and 36”long. It is mid Victorian and is very well sewn, made from fine cotton. It is clean and ready to wear. The yolk is shallow with a very full skirt with pin tucks and lace finishing with a scalloped edge at the hem. The sleeves are unusual, the cuff has a very tiny linen button, not seen very often. It is an instant heirloom which would be good for a baptism or a large doll.
